Where in the World is Chuck?

Since my Nigerian 419 scammer is nowhere to be found recently, I have turned my attention to another pressing matter; trying to find out what happened to Chuck? Just where in the world is Chuck? I have run down a few leads with no success. The first clue led me to Seattle, Washington, land of eternal sunshine, where I found Chuck B. was vice president of sales and marketing for Larry's Markets, the cash strapped grocery chain that just laid off 70% of its work force. This guy had a full head of hair so I knew right away I had missed my mark.
My next clue led me to Los Angeles where I found Chuck B. was a self-employed real estate developer who made a questionable donation of $1200 to John Kerry's presidential campaign fund. We all know Chuck is a devout Libertarian and would never have supportrd such a worthless cause. Since I was already in California I followed a clue down to San Diego where I found Chuck B. at a reunion of the Marine Corps Flying Tiger Squadron, but since this was a Vietnam era reunion, I quickly ruled out our beloved Chuck. I hopped back across the continent to Naugatuck, Connecticut to what I was sure would finally be success; Chuck B. was a licensed member of a national network of socially responsible investment consultants. Right up his alley, I thought, but alas, no luck! My final clue led me back to California where I was saddened to discover that Chuck was the former president of the Santa Cruz County Horseman's Association and had died in a myserious mountain biking incident that is still under investigation. I gave up my search there and am asking you for your help in finding Chuck.
Just where in the world is Chuck? Does anyone out there have a clue?

I found him in a gay bar dancing online.

Sorry Leigh, but that wasn't me.

If you had said that you "found a bar online, that I was dancing gay in"...you might have had me.

PS - Fun with Nigerians part II is screwing up your formatting.

I don't see anything different on my screen, but I moved it back to a draft for now. Did that change how it looks lon your screens?

Chuck said...

No, but move your "more fun with Nigerians part I" back to draft and I bet it will go back to normal.

...otherwise I will have to flag you for blog encroachment

I'm gonna have to side with the "banned one" on this call....clearly a BLEDGGIE...(BLOG WEDGIE)...formatting is in the neutral zone. Article 4, section 3, blog penal code 22c clearly calls for a 2 day blog suspension for such an infraction. Don't think I've seen such a wedgie sine I hung my brother up on a coat hook in 6th grade.

Which brother? I'm guessing Scott, but I think you could have done it to Rob too...

PS - since when have I been banned and what exactly have I been banned from, just so I know?

Impersonator/Ghost/ID Thief:

The "banning" you so astutely refer to is one of "self-imposed" banning. Before you assumed the real MofC's identity he left quite disillusioned, almost sad with a twist of bitterness for the Blogger's community not paying enough attention to his postings by offering comments. So you my friend, the impersonator are banned. Not the prolifically funny, wry, and crafty MofC.

You must cease and desist using his Screen Name, before I am forced to take this matter up with the supreme council of Blogging Judges.

Chuck didn't leave disillusioned, nor was he bitter about a perceived lack of comments, real or imaginary.

As his official voice, I can say I believe you have misinterpreted what he wrote in his supposed final blog. No, let me correct that, I believe that Chuck unsuccessfully wrote what was on his mind.

Either way, the confusion about his blog departure exists.

Rest assured he is neither bitter or disillusioned.

What he is, is up to him to say, as my duties as official voice do not extend to actually putting words into his mouth.

I can say however that "legal issues" played a part in his departure and that they will be made apparent in the very near future. Very near. Like this afternoon near....

As for the "Supreme Council of Blogging Judges" I fear them as much as I fear the Westminster Dog Show judges, which is to say, not at all.

Yours Respectfully,

Voice of Chuck

Blasphemy!!!!!!!!!!!!

How dare you insult TSCofJ's.
Legal issues? Now this is juicy...you sure you don't know the real MofC

I guess it got screwed up when I cut and pasted the e-mail text. How come I don't see this alleged "wedgie" you are alluding to?

Certainly a record for me so far. I have a few more tricks up my sleave, not as underhanded as MofC, but should be a lock for Breakout Blog of the Year!

Finally, recognition from the academy!
I'd like to thank CNN, Tedman, and the gentleman formerly known as MofC (TGFKAMOC), for getting me into the whole blogging mode in the first place. This is a well deserved and long awaited award and I shall do my best to uphold my responsibility to the blogging community in the future!
